Each Haber 20 Mini Reporter is custom built for every individual U.S. buyer with a choosing of over 50 options from the builder.
There is NO wood incorporated inside of the hull, deck, or rooftop in the construction of the Haber 20 Mini Reporter.
Each Haber 20 spends at least 3 days, & up to 8 days inside the female mould where the initial hull "layup" takes place. The entire/complete boat is then finished out inside the temperature controlled Haber plant for the duration of the build out (at least 30 days) to ensure COMPLETE fiberglass & laminate bonding.
The boat is never outside until the completed boat is ready for shipping!
The initial hull "layup" begins with 2 layers of gelcoat. No wood or stringers are utilized in the manufacturing process. The hull sides & roof deck consist of 1/2" foam core encased with 5 layers of laminate, the bottom of the hull consists of 1.2" foam core sandwich encased with 8 layers of laminate, & the transom consists 3/4" of a solid laminate that is encased in 20 layers of laminate.
The Haber plant maintains a controlled interior temperature of 64 degrees Fahrenheit & less than 65% humidity-aided in part by underground piping to maintain a constant plant temperature.
All of the stainless steel hardware utilized on the Haber 20 Mini Reporter is produced directly onsite/in the shipyard.
